Farm Assistant Position
Each year Fern Homestead hires for a one-year Farm Assistant position. This position goes to a person looking to widen the depth and breadth of their agricultural knowledge by gaining proficiency in a variety of animal and vegetable production tasks. Our farm assistant is expected to work independently and occasionally supervise interns. Full & Half Year Internships
Through programs with the Regenerative Education Alliance, we are able to provide paid internships to students who have completed basic soil health training and want to get hands-on farm experience. We practice and teach within the concepts of regenerative agriculture-- we believe that if we take care of our soil, it will take care of us. Our management goes beyond sustainability; our goal is to regenerate.
