Plan Your Visit
Three ways to visit the homestead
We want the community to participate, so we offer multiple paths. If you don't see your path on this page, send us a message!

Pitch in at a Volunteer Day
We ask the community for help in the garden several times a year, usually during planting and harvest. There are always refreshments, as well as farm goodies to take home, and it's a great place to meet other people who care about local food.
Volunteer days usually last 2-4 hours, occur on weekends, and don't require any special skills or abilities. We ask that people RSVP on our contact page or by email, in case of last minute cancellations due to changing weather conditions.
The farm is closed for 2026, stay tuned for our 2027 Volunteer Day schedule.

Private & Group Tours
Tour group sizes are limited to 10 people to ensure a calm experience for the animals. Each tour lasts 60 minutes, with an additional 30 minutes to wander around the farm on your own. Group tours are closed for 2026; to book a private tour, please send us a message.

Workshops & Classes
We offer workshops and classes covering many aspects of real homestead operation, such as animal handling and processing, vegetable harvest and preservation, and technical skills like woodworking. If you are an organization looking for a private workshop, please contact us.
Stay tuned for our 2027 event schedule.
